ILLIT shares excitement for new album and different vibes of ‘Cherish (My Love)

ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) discussed their upcoming album’s title track, Cherish (My Love), emphasizing how it differs greatly from their debut single, Magnetic. The group shared their thoughts during a special episode of their self-produced content, Night of ILLIT, released on October 15th KST via their official YouTube channel and Weverse.

Night of ILLIT is a show where the members share and enjoy their favorite things for a night, and this special episode, themed "A Special Night of ILLIT", featured the members enjoying a bonding trip together before their comeback. With playful antics like holding up a banner reading "Let’s Make Mini Album 2 a Hit" and engaging in candid heart-to-heart conversations, the episode highlighted the group’s tight-knit teamwork.

Iroha expressed surprise over the different vibe of the new track compared to Magnetic, saying, “It’s so different that I was a bit surprised, but the more we practiced, the more I liked it.” Yuna added, “I think people will realize that we’re not just about Magnetic when they see our new look.

Moka shared the group’s ambition to showcase their versatility, saying, “As a team whose name means ‘able to become anything,’ I hope we can show our diverse charms.” The members, expressing their unity and love for their fans, GLLIT, solidified their commitment to their music and each other.

ILLIT’s second mini-album, "I’LL LIKE YOU", is set to be released on October 21st at 6 PM KST, with two music video teasers for Cherish (My Love) dropping on October 18th and 20th to build excitement for the comeback.

Meanwhile, ILLIT’s debut single, "Magnetic", continues to perform well, holding steady in the global music scene. As of October 19th, the track has maintained its position on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 90 and the Billboard Global 200 at No. 164, marking 29 consecutive weeks on the charts.
